Birthdays, Grandbaby and Christmas

Another 2-1/2 months has went by and so much has happened.  Jayden celebrated his sixth birthday.

Maylin got free tickets to the circus.
and basketball is in full swing.
Seth is starting on the varsity team...

...and Riley is playing on the junior high team so we have games several times a week along with lots of practices.
Seth with two of his friends...Caitlyn and Zane.
Maylin had her thirteenth birthday with a very pink cake...

...and ice cream cones with good friends.

Jersey and Milo our two new puppies.

In November we finally were able to get everyone together for a family pictures.

All of the kids except Destiny who was 34 weeks pregnant.

Our oldest son Brian and his beautiful wife, Milana.

On the left is Destiny when we took the family photo.  On the right, a week later she had an emergency C-section.  Our grandbaby, Layne Michael was born on November 17, 2013, five weeks early.

He spent 17 days in the NICU.  He needed assistance with breathing and was tube fed.

This was taken a few days after he was out of the hospital.
Seth's first time holding Layne.

Mason had heart catherization on December 10th.

 before his cath.

He recovered very quickly and was asking for chicken and fries while we were in recovery.  The doctor said his heart looked as good as it could for only having two chambers.  Mason will have open heart surgery this spring to hopefully finalize his repairs.

We celebrated Christmas.  Destiny, Devyn and Layne were in Texas and even though they were missed Christmas was fun especially with a five and six year old.

All of the kids waiting to open presents.
Seth wanted a ukulele.  Now he can play piano, guitar and ukulele.

Sami chose all of her gifts so nothing was a surprise to her.

Seth also got another guitar.
What a blessed year 2013 has been.
