Seth playing basketball

Seth was invited by one of new friends and the athletic director to play on a summer basketball league at school that is purely for fun.  When we asked him if he was nervous about playing he said yes, he was worried he would not understand his coach.  He has played two games and the first game we could tell he was being cautious trying to figure it all out, but the second game he was much more comfortable.  A big thank you to Joe Dunning for the great pictures.  We forgot our camera the first game and the second game we were working in the concession stand.
The kids go to a Christian school so they start every game with prayer.
Seth is number 5 and Riley is number 3.

The first game Seth got one basket and the second game he had two assists along with one foul :)

  1. I LOVE watching your story and seeing this young man come out of his shell and grow. Each update is an answer to prayer. Thanks for sharing your story with us all. Angie

  2. How cool that he is now playing basketball on a team and learning piano- what a great story that was!

  3. He looks pretty happy in those pictures! And you got him to wear shorts!
