Adopting a child won't change the world, but for that child their world will change.

Mason becomes an official Sanders

On Tuesday, July 2, 2013, we went back to the civil affairs office with several other families to finalize Mason's adoption.  We met for a few minutes with the officer and promised not to abandon or mistreat him.  Then we go up one floor to the notary's office where they ask us a few more questions and again we promise to take good care of Mason.  It is all just a lot of paperwork and waiting, but I knew the end of the paperwork was finally just around the corner.
Taking the bus to the civil affairs office.  Jayden has made a new friend
Levi from Texas who is originally from Korea.

Mason with his best buddy Reid who will now be living in Wisconsin.
The four families who adopted kids from Bao'an.
Everytime Mason sees his friend Reid he yells Bao Sha Hao.  The boy is very loud.  Then he immediately starts talking a mile a minute.  It is quite the site to see.  I am hoping we can get it on video.  They have shared a room at the orphanage for who knows how long and it is obvious that they were close although when it is time for us to be on our way for the day they both seem fine about parting ways.
