One Year Already...

I am running over a week behind on this post, but one year ago on the 9th and 11th of April Jayden and Seth became a part of the Sanders family forever.  What an amazing year it has been.  Jayden has grown three inches and gained four pounds.  He eats all the time and there is nothing he won't eat. He was just tested for kindergarten at the private school the other kids go to and did not pass, but with a little work over the next few months he will!  They do not modify anything and are grading him against kids who are native English speakers. We probably should have put him in preschool, but I have had so much fun just being his mom and spending so much time with him.

He just got glasses two weeks ago.

Seth has been doing remarkable as well.  He is getting A's in school, which again is a private Christian school so he is studying so much to keep up.  He is doing the same tests and homework as the rest of his classmates.  He has also been homeschooling Science, English, Religion and History with his tutor.  Seth wants to succeed in all areas of his life.  He practices his guitar and piano 2-3 hours a day.  Then he is studying his school work and if that was not enough, he has been taking some kind of Chinese math class on top of that.

Seth still struggles with our food, but he will at least try something once.  He has recently discovered that he likes cereal which is wonderful because he is now eating before he goes to school. He is playing on his second soccer team since coming home and is having a great time.  He is also looking forward to summer basketball as he will be able to play with SongSong (Zane) and Seth also understands so much more about the game that he has commented that he knows he will get to play so much more.

We have been so blessed, and I know I have said that in almost every post, but it is so true.  Jayden and Seth have adjusted so well.  Jayden has never looked back and even though Seth went through a grieving period, he has truly bonded with us.  God has been with us every step of the way and has something awesome planned for both of these boys.  We are just so thankful that we will get to be a part of it as we are their forever family.
